Report: Understanding Women's Lives in Conflict Zones

Usanas Foundation organized a Panel Discussion on Understanding Women's Lives in Conflict Zones with experts on gender studies and women's rights. They elaborated on how women's lives are adversely affected by violent conflict across globally. Through their discussion, they also suggested policy measures to mitigate these adverse impacts and ensure a peaceful, gender-inclusive, society. Panelists include - Dr. Bahar Jalali - Visiting Associate Professor at Loyola University Maryland, Dr. Priyanka Chandra- Assistant Professor at Jindal School of International Affairs, and Ms. Meena Nezami- Founder and President of Girl Up Afghanistan. The session was moderated by Manju Smriti- MPA candidate, Cornell University, M.A (Philosophy), JNU.
