Panel Discussion: Understanding ISKP: Networks, Narratives, and Regional-Global Security Challenges
Usanas Foundation is organising a panel discussion on the topic “Islamic State of Khorasan Province: Networks, Narratives, and Regional-Global Security Challenges”, scheduled for 24 July 2026 at 5:00 PM IST.
The Welcome and Opening Remarks will be delivered by Dr. Abhinav Pandya, CEO & Founder, Usanas Foundation, and Amb. Anil Trigunayat, Former Ambassador to Jordan, Libya and Malta, and Board of Advisor, Usanas Foundation, respectively. Special Remarks will be delivered by Dr. Colin P. Clarke, Executive Director, Soufan Center and Research Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh, and Dr. Rohan Gunaratna, Professor of Security Studies, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The eminent panel of discussants includes Dr. Christian Kaunert, Jean Monnet Chair and Professor of International Security at Dublin City University; Mr. Kabir Taneja, Executive Director, ORF Middle East, expert on Foreign Policy, Security, and the Middle East, and author of The ISIS Peril; and Mr. Rashane Jude Pintoe, Fellow at the Global Peace Institute, UK, and co-author of an upcoming book on the ISKP.
The purpose of this session is to examine the emergence, networks, and narratives of the ISKP, with a focused discussion on its regional and global security implications.
